Additional Information
A new member is required to take a beginner’s class, the fee for the class is $50. The beginners’ class fee includes necessary instruction and at the end you will leave with a completed suncatcher and a general understanding of the copper foil method!
We supply all tools and glass for the beginner’s class. The time to complete a beginner’s class is approximately 9 hours which is completed in two to three sessions depending on the instructor.
We have 2 suncatcher patterns to choose from that can be completed within the beginner’s class time frame. You can choose the pattern you like best and up to three provided glass colors for your project. We have samples of the pieces available hanging in the shop. In addition, your beginner’s class fee includes an annual membership ($20 value), which allows you access to the stained-glass room and the use of the club’s tools (grinders, soldering irons, glass breakers, layout boards) for additional projects you choose in the future.
The annual membership fee does not include supplies such as glass, foil, flux, solder, etc. Annual Membership for those who have experience with working with stained glass is $20.
